Instructions to Link Crystal Reports to Peachtree data for Crystal v9

- Crystal reports MUST be installed on the machine you will be using to link your new reports to your company data.
- Copy the report to your Company’s data directory (see Maintain àCompany Information for data).
- Start Peachtree and open your company.
- From the Reports menu, open Crystal Reports, select the one of the standard reports (Customer Detail List v9) & click Design.
- Start Peachtree and open your company.
- From the Reports menu, open Crystal Reports, select the one of the standard reports (Customer Detail List v9) & click Design.
- From inside the Crystal Reports Designer, Select Database àVerify Database.
- Open each of the new reports in your company folder one at a time; verify the database as above and save each report.
- If you do this with a crw-v8 report file or from report written for a prior version of Peachtree, you may be required to re-map any variables that have changed names.
- When verification is complete click FileàSave & close the window.
- MAKE SURE to SAVE the report before closing it!
